Qualifications for Employment
PCS requirements:
1. All employees at Providence Christian School must be born-again Christians.
2. Employees will manifest by precept and example the highest Christian virtue and personal decorum as a Christian role model (I Timothy 4:12) both in and out of school to pupils (Luke 6:40), and as an example to parents and fellow faculty members in judgment, dignity, respect, and Christian living.
3. All employees must be active members in good standing of an evangelical church which holds to the inerrancy of Scripture.
PCS and State Requirements:
1. All elementary teachers (K-5) must have a Georgia professional certificate or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 30 semester hours of professional education.
2. All middle school teachers (6-8) must have a Georgia professional certificate in the field being taught or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 30 semester hours of professional education.
3. All high school teachers (9-12) must have a Georgia professional certificate in the field being taught or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 30 semester hours of professional education.
